The National Pickleball League (NPL) enters its 3rd season with a new Board of Managers and day- to-day management of the league’s business to position it for long-term success.
The NPL Board of Managers now consists of nine members, including:
NPL Co-Founders: Beth Bellamy, Michael Chen, and Rick Witsken
Team Owner Representatives: Julie Gibson, Kim Jagd, and Bob Strommen
Independent Managers: Rod Davis (Chairman), Matt Troyer, and one additional member to be named

Davis has been appointed as both Chairman of the Board and CEO, overseeing the league’s day-to-day operations. With more than 30 years of experience in sports marketing, sponsorship, and event management, Davis has worked with a number of premier properties, brands, networks, and agencies in the industry.
He has served as the President and Tournament Director for the Indianapolis stop on the men’s ATP Tour, led Olympic marketing initiatives for two National Governing Bodies, and served on the executive leadership team for the Indianapolis 500 and IndyCar Series as Chief Revenue Officer.

The National Pickleball League (NPL) stands as the premier professional pickleball league for athletes ages 50 and over. Featuring a dynamic roster of former professional and collegiate stars from tennis, football, baseball, soccer, volleyball, and cycling, the NPL showcases elite competition. With a $175,000 prize pool, the 2025 season promises high stakes and thrilling matches as 12 teams nationwide battle across five regular season events, culminating in the annual Championship.
